The Mittes Backpacker Hostel - the oldest Hostel in Germany, the baxpax Kreuzberg and the new baxpax downtown have already experienced quiet a lot over the years. Rather than wanting to be solely a place to sleep at, the baxpax Hostels Hotels always offered their guests lots of entertainment. Poker Tournements “Pokerwelle Deutschland”
Since May 2007 “Pokerwelle Deutschland” holds a monthly open Poker tournament in the baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel. From early in the morning poker is played on all 10 tables, until only one winner is left. There are lots of tempting prizes to be won.

Adicup 2006: Offical Accommodation Partner
The final of the ADIDAS-Cups 2006 was held in the last week of the world cup in Berlin. All winning teams from New York, Paris, Tokyo, Barcelona, Milan and London slept in the baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel. Alongside lots of ADIDAS-Officals, Football fan Damon Alban, member of the bands of Blur and Gorillaz attended the event.

Berlinale Talent Campus: Offical Accommodation Partner
Alongside this year's Berlinale film festival, the 6th Berlinale Talent Campus, took place. Over 350 young filmmaker from all over the world came to Berlin for almost a week to take part in lots of different workshops, courses and panel discussions. The baxpax Hostels Hotels have been the official accommodation partner of the Berlinale Talent Campus since the first of this event. Also this year we welcomed the talents with a big party that let the baxpax downtown Hostel Hotel burst at the seams.

Cops Robbers XBOX Event in baxpax downtown
The live event did not only take place in our establishment due to the same number of x's in the names. The baxpax downtown did not only provide pleasant accommodation, but also the facilities for the buzzing finishing party. Presenter Simon Gosejohann personally thanked the team with a note in the Guestbook.

Baobab Family Charity Concert
The baxpax Hostels Hotels supports charity events such as the Baobab Family Charity Concert, which was organised by pupils. To the charity concert in aid of kenyan street children and homeless mothers, organised through the Baobab-Family-Projects, the baxpax Kreuzberg Hostel offered all the artists free accommodation.

The Bonobo-Principle
The baxpax Hostel Hotels, with their individually arty designed rooms, also offers a perfect setting for films, such as in the film “The Bonobo-Principle” which producer Michael Sittner filmed in February 2006 in Mittes Backpacker Hostel. For two weeks we had cameramen running around everywhere. Not to spoil too much, the film is to be shown on several international film competitions.
